We, the One-World Family, in order to create a better world for all humankind will nurture human values in all areas of our lives. We will work in our communities, our schools, and in our homes to foster a sense of brotherhood, friendliness, compassion and a commitment to serving humanity and this planet.  We know that it is essential that these human values be increasingly emphasized to avoid the stress and violence that we are facing in society.  We recognize that we can eradicate these negative tendencies by giving prominence to human values. We recognizethat the goal of universal human rights cannot be fully achieved unless we witness a flourishing of universal human values.  It has come time to reawaken these human values in all parts of our individual lives and throughout this planet. Let us take part in this huge task that we have of transforming the world. Let us uplift people and lessen others’ burdens. Let us keep our goal in life to bring light, laughter, beauty and joy to everyone around us and move ahead together. Let us commit to creating a stress-free, violence-free society and appeal to the leaders and other members of this global family to acknowledge, encourage and reward the development and nurturing of Human Values.
