U.S. Youth Empowerment

Youth Empowerment Program is an intensive 4-week residential program which gives an immersion in stress and trauma relief techniques of breathing, meditation and yoga and prepares participants to teach those techniques back to the community. A focus on leadership, teamwork and communication skills creates a solidly bonded team of volunteers with an emphasis on service that gives back to communities in need.

In the words of a the Youth Empowerment Program graduate in the summer of 2006,

The program challenges the youth participants to learn and embody the Art of Living, discover their potential and be the change they wish to see. Tapping their inner wisdom, they become a model of inner strength, joy and caring for the world. All this is nurtured by a deep connection with a loving and accepting team who dedicate themselves to the challenging and ultimately fulfilling work of personal growth and service.
